How does Archipeg count users?
You invite users to have access to your subscription.
Archipeg counts those exact users you invited at the end of each
billing cycle and calculates the amount due accordingly.
You also count as a user if you are the subscription owner.
How do I pick the right plan?
You don't need to - you pay only for what you use!
At the end of each billing cycle, we pick the cheapest plan to cover your existing users and projects and send you an invoice with the total amount.
Here is how we determine the plan for you.
In a nutshell, Archipeg subscription plans are based on two primary limits: the number of users and the number of projects.
First, we look at the number of users who have access to your subscription. That number will determine all qualifying plans.
e.g., if you have ten users, you fall under the Team or Enterprise plan because you are under the limits in both cases. You don't qualify for an Individual plan because it only allows one user.
Next, we look at the projects you have created and pick the cheapest plan to cover those many projects.
e.g., if you have ten users and 20 projects, you will fall under the Enterprise plan because the Team plan has a limit of 10 projects.
Can I try Archipeg for free?
Absolutely! The Individual plan is free if you only need one user and one project.
With the paid plans, we offer a 30 day free trial upon sign-up, which
should be enough to evaluate Archipeg at your own pace.
If you need more than 30 days to assess Archipeg's fit for your organization,
please
contact us, and we will help you.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No.
Can you invoice my employer?
Yes. Archipeg billing works for both individuals and corporations. Here is how:
Once per month, we send out an email with an invoice and payment link. The payment link goes to Stripe, and you can pick any method that works for you or your company.
You can configure the invoice "bill to" name and email after sign-up, which will ensure that the invoice goes directly to the specified employer email.
Alternatively, you can forward the invoice email to your employer and let them pay for it.
How does the billing work for annual plans?
Annual plans work like a contract that has a term of one year.
If you know the number of required seats ahead of time, you can cover your entire balance at once.
At the end of each billing cycle, your paid amount is compared with the current usage under annual plans.
If your usage exceeds what you have already paid, we will send you an invoice to cover the difference.
Note that the additional payments made due to exceeded usage limits do not extend the contract term because,
in essence, this payment is part of the annual contract balance.
What if I have more projects than my plan allows?
Both users and projects determine the plan for which you qualify.
To calculate your total balance due, go to the pricing page and enter the number of users.
Next, find the plan with the number of projects you need. That plan determines how much you pay.
For example, suppose you are the only user, but you have two projects, and you want to pay annually.
In such a case, you do not qualify for an Individual plan because you exceed the limit of one project.
Consequently, you fall under the Team plan that allows up to 10 users and 10 projects.
You would pay $0 per month if you had only one project. With two projects, you will pay $26 per month.
On the positive side, the Team plan includes up to 10 projects without further increasing your monthly cost.
So you get a plan with one user and up to 10 projects for $26 per month.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. There are multiple ways to cancel your subscription:
- You can contact us, and we can discontinue your account.
- Remove all users and projects from your account, which will automatically be closed for access.
-
Not recommended (this option will leave an unpaid balance on your name): your subscription will automatically expire if you do not pay
the invoice at the end of a billing cycle or a trial period (assuming you have exceeded the free plan limits).
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, you can delete users and projects at any time, automatically
moving you to the cheaper plan that covers your usage.
Alternatively, you can add more users and projects to your subscription, which will
automatically move you to a plan that can cover your increased usage.
Your next invoice will reflect the new amount.
e.g., if you currently have ten users and 11 projects, you are billed as an Enterprise plan.
You will need to delete one project to switch to a Team plan, which allows up to 10 projects.
